Breaking away from the traditional Japan culture events typically held overseas, this event is organized with the theme of delivering authentic, real content that can only be experienced in Japan. For its inaugural edition, the renowned music club "Akihabara MOGRA," based in Akihabara, Japan, has been invited to headline the event.
Akihabara MOGRA is a pioneer in breaking down barriers between Japanese pop music genres such as anime songs, idol songs, and game music, and club music. It offers a fresh perspective and new ways to enjoy these genres, becoming the global hub for the "Anison DJ" phenomenon. As a result, MOGRA has continuously evolved, attracting fans from all over the world and establishing itself as a critical pillar in the DJ and club scene.

He has performed at events such as ANIME EXPO in Los Angeles, anime song DJ events in Hong Kong, and a Vocaloid festival in Shanghai. Additionally, he appeared at AJ Night, the official pre-party for Japan’s largest anime event, AnimeJapan, in both 2015 and 2016. He has shared the stage with top-tier voice actors and anime song singers, including Suzuko Mimori, LiSA, and Sumire Uesaka.
Beyond anime songs, he has also performed at Japan's largest EDM festivals, such as ULTRA JAPAN and electrox, achieving over 120 performances annually.
Recognized as a leading figure of the next generation, he is highly anticipated to expand listeners' perspectives and become a trailblazer in promoting new Japanese culture to the world.
DJ Shimamura
A hardcore rave music producer and DJ.
He has earned widespread acclaim both domestically and internationally for remixes of artists such as m-flo, Kumi Koda, Nanawo Akari, LONDON ELEKTRICITY, RAM RIDER, DECO*27, and NIRGILIS. He has also contributed tracks to the beatmania IIDX series of music games.
As a DJ, he has performed in cities worldwide, including San Francisco, London, Bristol, Brisbane, Shanghai, and Toronto. Domestically, he frequently appears at venues such as ageHa in Shin-Kiba, clubasia in Shibuya, and Akihabara MOGRA, as well as at parties across Japan.
D-YAMA
A key figure of the new generation in Akihabara, he opened "Akihabara MOGRA," the only club in Akihabara now known worldwide, in 2009. Since then, he has been leading MOGRA's unique culture in the dual arenas of Akihabara and the club scene.
As a cultural ambassador, he travels across the globe, including the United States, Germany, and Southeast Asia, to spread MOGRA's DJ style. He also works as a demonstrator and instructor for "PioneerDJ," the world’s leading brand in DJ equipment.

He began his career in 2007.
As a Tokyo-based bass music DJ, he has supported numerous overseas artists during their Japan tours and accompanied many domestic tours over the years. In 2016, he was invited to perform at Boiler Room Tokyo JP Grime All-Stars, produced by Elijah & Skilliam of the London-based label "Butterz."
He has performed at major dance music festivals such as ULTRA JAPAN 2015, Outlook Festival Japan, and Electric Zoo. Additionally, he toured 15 locations across Japan for the Lights Release Tour and played internationally in Asia at venues like Cakeshop Seoul in South Korea and Sentosa Island in Singapore. In 2024, he embarked on a North American tour, where his performance on New York’s community radio station The Lot Radio, alongside longtime collaborator Swami Sound, received widespread acclaim.
While actively performing as a DJ on the frontlines, he also serves as a booking manager at MOGRA, organizing and producing numerous events. He is regarded as one of the DJs leading Tokyo’s next generation.
