Celebrating the 10th Anniversary of Their Acclaimed Party, YOSA & TAAR Announce "Modern Disco Driver"—Their First Album in Six Years and an Essential Dance Album Themed on 'Liberation.'

YOSA & TAAR will release their highly-anticipated new album, Modern Disco Driver, their first in six years, on August 13. As a DJ/producer unit and the masterminds behind the club party "Modern Disco," the duo has orchestrated countless moments of dancefloor ecstasy. Now, they present the masterful new project they've been building towards with full confidence. The album's title, Modern Disco Driver, is inspired by their popular DJ party, "Modern Disco." With "liberation" as its central theme, the album captures the feeling of setting mind and body free through music and dance, a journey back to a state of freedom. Released on the 10th anniversary of the "Modern Disco" party, this project is both a reaffirmation of their musical roots and a powerful step into the future. This is a sound that could only be crafted by YOSA & TAAR, whose expertise is born from their mastery of the club floor. The album is built on a vibrant, genre-crossing groove rooted in house and disco, infused with a sense of euphoria that naturally uplifts the listener. Modern Disco Driver is a next-generation dance album that casts a light on the chaos of daily life and guides listeners toward a positive state of liberation. The album features 10 tracks, including the previously released singles "Echoes feat. Aile The Shota" and "Lights feat. iri." It brings together a diverse array of artists spanning genres and generations, including iri, Aile The Shota, Shinichi Osawa, Sagiri Sól, and Adee A. The lead track, "Fade Up Fader feat. Adee A.," features a title inspired by the quintessential DJ act of pushing up the fader and is a track that powerfully moves both heart and body. The fusion of YOSA & TAAR’s energetic yet sophisticated sound with the unique individuality of each featured artist makes this a dance album poised to define the summer. On the 7th, a special website commemorating the album's release was launched, featuring the first wave of comments from participating artists like iri and Sagiri Sól, as well as friends of the duo and key figures in the club scene. A second wave of comments is scheduled to be added, building anticipation for the release day. Furthermore, a release party has been confirmed for Friday, August 29, at Shibuya's iconic WOMB. YOSA & TAAR is the collaborative project of DJs and producers YOSA and TAAR. They are the hosts of the popular party "MODERN DISCO," where they have brought numerous international artists to Japan, including FKJ, Todd Terje, Purple Disco Machine, and Chaos in the CBD. Their 1st album, "Modern Disco Tours," featured an array of guest artists such as SIRUP, Taichi Mukai, MINMI, eill, Odol Foot Works, Taro from Attractions, and SNEEEZE, earning them support from a wide audience that transcended genre boundaries. Among its tracks, "Fever feat. SIRUP" became a smash hit, accumulating over 5 million streams across all platforms. As a DJ unit, they have since played at major festivals like FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL, GREEN ROOM FESTIVAL, and ULTRA MUSIC JAPAN, as well as at major clubs throughout the country.
