For this track, I had the pleasure of working with producer knoak. I’ve loved his music for such a long time and always dreamed of making a song together, so it really feels like that dream has finally come true. From our very first session, we moved forward while talking through all kinds of ideas, and I’m genuinely so happy we were able to create this together. The sound is sharply defined, but still somehow soft and warm at the same time – I’d love for you to pay attention to that texture as you listen.
The theme, as the title suggests, is a “dead end” kind of love. It’s not that you suddenly start hating the other person, but you reach a point where you just can’t stay together anymore. You’re grateful for what you shared, but this love has hit a dead end and can’t move forward. That’s the feeling I tried to capture in this song. I hope you enjoy the contrast between the slightly bittersweet lyrics and the bright, colorful pop melody and production.

Themed around "a highway bathed in sunset," the music video is a vivid visual experience designed to burn into the viewer's memory upon first sight. Directed by Shunsuke Shiraiwa, a filmmaker known for numerous high-profile works including Sagiri Sól’s own "heat shock," Leo Ieiri’s "Mirror feat. Kosuke Saito," and SIRUP’s "RENDEZVOUS feat. hard life," the video perfectly captures the track's driving energy.
Arriving approximately three months after her 2nd EP lapis lazuli (released in August), "dead end love" marks her first collaboration with rising producer knoak, known for his work with artists like Furui Riho.
