Thai rising label/management company YUPP! Entertainment and Japan-based music company KSR Corp., known for its international expansion in the HIP-HOP, R&B, and Dance music scenes, have officially launched a joint Japan–Thailand music project.

This project is positioned as a new cross-border initiative connecting the music scenes of Southeast Asia and Japan. By leveraging the creative networks of both countries, the partnership aims to foster artist development and produce collaborative content on an international scale.
The first artist selected for this project is Flower.far, a member of the Thai girl group DREAMGALS, who has also been gaining recognition as a solo artist.

Flower.far is a rising Thai artist and a member of the girl group DREAMGALS, alongside artists such as MILLI, who is affiliated with the global label 88rising. Within the group, she stands out as an R&B singer with a distinctive presence and expressive vocal style.

She has also actively collaborated with Japanese artists, building strong connections with the Japanese music scene. Her past works include “U&I” with 3House, “Blood Line” with Red Eye and D.O, and “I’m Your Ghost” with Ichika Nito—demonstrating her versatility across genres and further strengthening her affinity with Japan’s music landscape.

For this project, Flower.far—who has already been expanding her presence across Asia, including appearances on Chinese music programs—will take a major step toward entering the Japanese market through the production of a Japanese-language cover album. The project is being produced in Sapporo, Hokkaido, emphasizing direct engagement with Japan’s music culture as a core element of the creative process.

【Reinterpreting Iconic Japanese Songs — Cover Album “What if…” to Be Released on May 8】

Through this project, Flower.far will release her first Japanese-language cover album, What if…, on May 8, 2026.

The album reimagines a selection of songs that define different eras of Japanese music—from city pop classics to contemporary J-pop hits—through her unique artistic perspective.
Flower.far commented:

“I sang these well-known Japanese songs in my own way, with deep respect for Japanese music culture and the original artists. I hope many people will listen and share their own interpretations and feelings through these songs.”

Grounded in her respect for Japanese music, she breathes new life into each track through her distinctive sensibility and vocal expression.

In addition, the album includes a Japanese-language version of one of her original songs, creating a dynamic interplay between covers and original material within the project.
