【An Extraordinary Collaboration!】Yukipoyo (Yuki Kimura), who is active as a model and TV personality, unveils “Te-Te Gyaru (Tagalog Remix)” today as the artist Yukipoyo!

The track is a remix of “Te-Te Gyaru,” released in July and currently generating buzz on social media, with the lyrics rewritten entirely in Tagalog and featuring Zae, a rising-star rapper from the Philippines.

Zae is a rapper currently attracting attention in the Philippines, with her song “SUBOMOTO REMIX” nominated for Hip-Hop Song of the Year at the inaugural Filipino Music Awards (2025). Production is handled by XLII, who also produced the much-talked-about Reichi - Red Bull 64 Bars.

A Sped Up version of the track is also included and is sure to attract even more attention on social media. Look forward to the exchanges and chemistry between these two gyarus from Japan and the Philippines.

A music video filmed in the Philippines, where Yukipoyo has her own roots, was also released on YouTube simultaneously with the track’s digital release. The work captures the energy of the local scene as it is, and is packed with scenes of the two gyarus from Japan and the Philippines. It was produced by the independent Philippine production company Gotsauce?.

Ahead of the release of “Te-Te Gyaru (Tagalog Remix) [feat. Zae],” Yukipoyo also carried out promotional activities in the Philippines. Through appearances on Philippine media outlet Manila Bulletin’s podcast “Tha Sitdown” and popular radio station Magic 89.9’s program “Home Stretch with Izbel and Jayjay,” as well as press conferences and interviews, she spoke about gyaru culture and her feelings toward the Philippines while incorporating Tagalog.

With its Baile Funk characteristics, “Te-Te Gyaru” has already become popular outside Japan and is widely used on social media by gyarus around the world. With this new Tagalog remix, further globalization originating from Japan and the Philippines can be expected.
