New Collective “CIRQL,” Aiming to Reach Across Asia, to Hold Launch Party on Saturday, October 24! The Event Will Take Place at “good tempo,” a Space Inside the Former Ikejiri Junior High School Where Visitors Can Enjoy Drinks, Food, Tropical Plants, and Music.

Japan

Since launching “CIRQL,” a music collective directly connecting the Japanese and Asian music scenes, with Tokyo and Bangkok as its hubs, on Friday, May 22, 2026, KSR Corp. and Styrism Inc. have released four tracks. To commemorate the launch of the project, the “CIRQL Launch Party” will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at “good tempo,” a live café and bar in Ikejiri. Three emerging artists representing the next generation of the Asian music scene will perform.

The event will bring together premium live performances by Maaaki (VIDA Hollywood), SANDEI, and Shawn—three artists leading the next generation of the Asian music scene—with the sophisticated atmosphere of good tempo. Limited-edition merchandise featuring the official CIRQL logo is also scheduled to be sold at the venue on the day of the event.

■ About “CIRQL,” a Collective Connecting the Japanese and Asian Music Scenes

“CIRQL” is a music collective that connects Asia directly, going beyond the boundaries of a music label to support cross-border collaborations and next-generation artists. With Tokyo and Bangkok as its hubs, it aims to establish “circular premium IP” across Asia.

The collective is built around three concepts: “Circulate,” “Circle,” and “Quality.” It seeks to create “sophisticated music experiences” that are not consumed as fleeting trends, as well as a new cycle of culture in which artists and fans remain connected over time. The logo symbolizing the project was created by graphic artist YOSHIROTTEN (Y.A.R).

CIRQL plans to continue releasing new music through multinational collaborations and a series of noteworthy projects. We hope you will stay tuned for CIRQL’s future developments as it brings new energy to the Asian music scene.

Maaaki (VIDA Hollywood)

Maaaki is a Tokyo-based singer-songwriter. Drawing on soul, R&B, and bedroom pop, she creates music that drifts between dreams and reality through delicate vocals and introspective lyrics. Having spent her teenage years in the United States, she is known for lyrics that move between English and Japanese, along with her husky, relaxed singing voice. She has developed a distinctive style influenced by a wide range of music, including indie R&B, soul music from across Asia, and Japanese city pop. While working as the vocalist of VIDA Hollywood, she launched her solo project in 2026. Incorporating her own sensibilities and the fluctuations of everyday life into her music, she pursues expression unrestricted by genre.

SANDEI

A Tokyo-based singer-songwriter. Influenced by his mother, he grew up listening to jazz, soul, R&B, and other genres from an early age. He moved to Melbourne on his own to study abroad during high school, where he also encountered hip-hop. Incorporating a variety of musical styles, he is known for his unique sound. “Moonshine,” released in 2022 under his former artist name “sangdei,” surpassed one million streams on Spotify despite his status as an unknown newcomer. His 2024 release “Cocrete Jungle” went on to surpass 170,000 views on Instagram Reels. In August 2025, he changed his artist name to “SANDEI” upon releasing his first single, “MAKE IT,” through Suppage Records. In 2026, following the name change, he was selected as a candidate for the “Next-Generation Creative Talent Development Program for International Success” organized by the Culture and Entertainment Industries Promotion Association (CEIPA). He is a singer-songwriter whose future activities are anticipated not only in Japan but also overseas.

A 26-year-old singer-songwriter from Kanagawa Prefecture. Influenced by his family, he grew up listening to R&B, neo-soul, and city pop. He began making music using digital audio workstation (DAW) software at the age of 18 and started writing and composing his own songs. Through memorable, soothing melodies, authentic lyrics that resonate with everyday life, and a gentle singing voice, he creates his own distinctive musical world. His single “ゆめみごこち,” released in January 2025, attracted attention after surpassing a total of 200,000 plays on social media. His subsequent release, “さよならノスタルジー,” released in January 2026, was selected for “Cool Cuts,” the February 2026 power-play feature on Fukuoka radio station LOVE FM. Steadily expanding his listener base, Shawn is an emerging singer-songwriter whose future activities are drawing attention.
